Unforgettable Pip Tarot Decks
Hello everyone ! Namaste ! Have you ever had that moment where you just can’t stop obsessing over something? You got to sleep with it, you eat with it you carry it to work … well that's what happened to me! I am excited to share with you 2 of my favorite and unforgettable tarot pip decks of 2021! Trust me you will love it!
Before I continue, I will explain what is a Pip deck, a pip deck is a tarot deck that has 22 Major Arcana that is fully illustrated, however, the Minor Arcana is actually changed into symbols or images , they can be very vague and very simple. ( More on pip decks in my future article )
So let's begin !!! The first Deck that I enjoyed the most is a deck I recently purchased known as the “ Bumbleberry Hollows Tarot Deck “ by Faith Varvara. OH BOI ! when I tell you heaven has sent me a gift, I mean it !!!
This deck is so beautiful and enchanting you can’t keep your eye off it. The colors are so fun and vivid! The characters are so cute !!!! They are the epitome of Kawaii characters, this deck does give me some Sanrio vibes however this is so much more than that!
The pip deck has beautifully illustrated symbols such as wands, cups, pies (pentacles ), and Knives for swords! It's just so adorable! Reading this deck will surely uplift your feelings and your clients ! It's perfect for children who want to get into tarot for journaling too ! I absolutely adore the way she designed this deck and highly recommended it for all age groups! That's all I have to say for this deck as of now, I will create another article for an in-depth review on it
The next card that I enjoy the most is the Harmony Tarot Deck, This is also another pip deck that I purchased unknowingly! I thought it was a normal tarot deck however it was actually a pip deck. Despite not knowing it was a pip deck, I was able to fall in love with this deck after a few uses. This deck is actually made by Harmony Nice a YouTuber who I enjoyed watching.
This deck is very beautiful and relaxing, what I love the most about this deck is how calming it feels, the symbols used for the minor arcana are flowers, each suite is represented by a Rose, Bluebell, Heather, and Snowdrops. This can be daunting at first because all the images are similar, but the beauty with pip deck is that it doesn’t clutter your mind with all the images and colors, I find that minimal decks help me get the answers more easily.
Another point I love is that its Major Arcana is actually based on Harmony’s Wiccan path and journey, yes they are absolutely different from the well-known Rider Waite deck however they have a similar meaning . This can be exciting for me because I enjoy fiddling around with new things and see how they impact the reading ! Overall it has not affected my client's reading and works really well!
This deck is also mainly emphasized self-care, the guidebook is all about self-care and how you can work through each card, there are direct and clear steps. However I would say this is an intermediate deck due to the complexities in the Major Arcana and the symbolism in the minor arcana, they are no longer your average wands, cups, etc, now they are Suite of Spring, Summer, Winter, and Autumn. Overall I enjoy this deck due to its calming and relaxing vibes !
What do you feel about the 2 decks? and have you ever used a pip deck? Share with me your thoughts in the comments below, I would love to see them! But for now, thank you for reading and Ciao!
